I want to bring up a few more topics about the "THE LIFE OF A CHAMPION" that I find really important.

A champion's candidate should add as a main priority to study the sport in depth and thoroughly especially the mental and psychological element. In order to absorb the information that you think has not registered in your subconscious, my advice is to write sticky notes and spread them everywhere so you remind yourself constantly.

Defend and promote honesty as an ethical behavior within the tennis community.

Picture in your mind that the size of your opponent's side of the court is about 3 feet smaller all around it and that the net is twice its normal height. Such mental behavior gives a champion the advantage to make less mistakes both into the net and out. By doing so, you give yourself a good margin for error and as a result you might still win points whether it is by hitting the lines or barely making it over the net. I consider this one of the big secrets of the top champions in the world. Based on this, we can understand how "a Champion's Luck" works.

Also picture in your mind the importance of keeping a high percentage of serves, in other words, avoid double faults. Once you get the point started focus on keeping your shots cross-court. Such strategy might seem old and known by everyone, but it always pays off to use it. By hitting your shots cross-court, you are using the lowest part of the net and the longest path of the ball whereas the down-the-line shots are exactly the opposite. Besides, the direction the cross-court shots go, there is a bit of a cushion since they are aimed to a bigger area of the court.
